महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-9, verse-5

वार्यतां साध्वयं मूढः शमं गच्छतु ते सुतः ।
वनस्थांस्तानयं हन्तुमिच्छन्प्राणैर्विमोक्ष्यते ॥५॥
5. vāryatāṁ sādhvayaṁ mūḍhaḥ śamaṁ gacchatu te sutaḥ ,
vanasthāṁstānayaṁ hantumicchanprāṇairvimokṣyate.
5. vāryatām sādhu ayam mūḍhaḥ śamam gacchatu te sutaḥ
vanasthān tān ayam hantum icchan prāṇaiḥ vimokṣyate
5. Indeed, let this foolish son of yours be restrained; let him attain peace. If he desires to kill those who reside in the forest, he will lose his own life (prāṇa).
