महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-249, verse-11

यं षट्सहस्रा रथिनोऽनुयान्ति नागा हयाश्चैव पदातिनश्च ।
जयद्रथो नाम यदि श्रुतस्ते सौवीरराजः सुभगे स एषः ॥११॥
11. yaṁ ṣaṭsahasrā rathino'nuyānti; nāgā hayāścaiva padātinaśca ,
jayadratho nāma yadi śrutaste; sauvīrarājaḥ subhage sa eṣaḥ.

nāgāḥ hayāḥ ca eva padātinaḥ

11. O beautiful one (subhage), this is indeed Jayadratha, the King of Saubhīra, if you have heard of him, whom six thousand charioteers, along with elephants, horses, and foot soldiers, follow.
