महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-59, verse-9

न किंचिदीड्यं प्रवदन्ति पापं वनेचरं वा गृहमेधिनं वा ।
तपस्विनं संपरिपूर्णविद्यं भषन्ति हैवं श्वनराः सदैव ॥९॥
9. na kiṁcidīḍyaṁ pravadanti pāpaṁ; vanecaraṁ vā gṛhamedhinaṁ vā ,
tapasvinaṁ saṁparipūrṇavidyaṁ; bhaṣanti haivaṁ śvanarāḥ sadaiva.
9. na kiñcit īḍyam pravadanti pāpam
vanacaram vā gṛhamedhinam vā
tapasvinam samparipūrṇavidyam
bhaṣanti ha evam śvanarāḥ sadaiva
9. These dog-men (śvanarāḥ) always bark in such a way that they do not declare anything praiseworthy to be a sin, whether it pertains to a forest dweller, a householder, or even an ascetic (tapasvin) possessing complete knowledge.
