महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-18, verse-11

ददातु राजा विप्रेभ्यो यथेष्टं क्रियतां व्ययः ।
पुत्राणां सुहृदां चैव गच्छत्वानृण्यमद्य सः ॥११॥
11. dadātu rājā viprebhyo yatheṣṭaṁ kriyatāṁ vyayaḥ ,
putrāṇāṁ suhṛdāṁ caiva gacchatvānṛṇyamadya saḥ.

11. Let the king give to the Brahmins as much as they desire. Let expenses be incurred for his sons and friends. Let him become free from debt today.
