महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-146, verse-14

पितृवंशमिमं पश्य त्वत्कृते नरकं गतम् ।
निरर्थाः सर्व एवैषामाशाबन्धास्त्वदाश्रयाः ॥१४॥
14. pitṛvaṁśamimaṁ paśya tvatkṛte narakaṁ gatam ,
nirarthāḥ sarva evaiṣāmāśābandhāstvadāśrayāḥ.

nirarthāḥ sarve eva eṣām āśābandhāḥ tvadāśrayāḥ
14. tvam imam pitṛvaṃśam tvatkṛte narakam gatam paśya
eṣām tvadāśrayāḥ sarve eva āśābandhāḥ nirarthāḥ
14. Behold this paternal lineage, which has fallen into hell because of you. All their hopes, which depended on you, are indeed meaningless.
