इमं तु भूय इच्छामि कुरूणां वंशमादितः ।
कथ्यमानं त्वया विप्र विप्रर्षिगणसंनिधौ ॥२॥

2. imaṁ tu bhūya icchāmi kurūṇāṁ vaṁśamāditaḥ ,
kathyamānaṁ tvayā vipra viprarṣigaṇasaṁnidhau.

2. But, O Brahmin, I now further desire to hear this lineage of the Kurus, narrated by you from the very beginning, in the presence of this assembly of Brahmin sages.

2. ועתה אני רוצה לשמוע שוב את שושלת בני קוּרוּ מתחילתה, כפי שתספר לי, הו חכם, בנוכחות קבוצת החוזים הבְּרַהְמִינִים.
