महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-35, verse-5

देवा वासुकिना सार्धं पितामहमथाब्रुवन् ।
भगवञ्शापभीतोऽयं वासुकिस्तप्यते भृशम् ॥५॥
5. devā vāsukinā sārdhaṁ pitāmahamathābruvan ,
bhagavañśāpabhīto'yaṁ vāsukistapyate bhṛśam.
5. devāḥ vāsukinā sārdham pitāmaham atha abruvan |
bhagavan śāpabhītaḥ ayam vāsukiḥ tapyate bhṛśam
5. Then the Devas, along with Vāsuki, spoke to Brahmā: "O Lord, this Vāsuki is greatly tormented, fearing a curse."
