ततः प्रभृति तां कन्यां वासुकिः पर्यरक्षत ।
जरत्कारुं स्वसारं वै परं हर्षमवाप च ॥२॥

2. tataḥ prabhṛti tāṁ kanyāṁ vāsukiḥ paryarakṣata ,
jaratkāruṁ svasāraṁ vai paraṁ harṣamavāpa ca.
