सूत उवाच ।
बहुत्वान्नामधेयानि भुजगानां तपोधन ।
न कीर्तयिष्ये सर्वेषां प्राधान्येन तु मे शृणु ॥४॥

na kīrtayiṣye sarveṣāṁ prādhānyena tu me śṛṇu.

4. Sūta said: 'O ascetic, due to the multitude of names of the serpents, I shall not recite all of them. However, listen to me concerning the principal ones.'
