महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-31, verse-17

एतेषां प्रसवो यश्च प्रसवस्य च संततिः ।
असंख्येयेति मत्वा तान्न ब्रवीमि द्विजोत्तम ॥१७॥
17. eteṣāṁ prasavo yaśca prasavasya ca saṁtatiḥ ,
asaṁkhyeyeti matvā tānna bravīmi dvijottama.

asaṃkhyeyā iti matvā tān na bravīmi dvijottama
17. And the offspring of these, and the progeny of that offspring, are innumerable; thus, considering this, O best among the twice-born, I do not tell them (all).
