योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-151, verse-3

स शशाम शनैर्वह्निर्निःशेषीकृतकाननः ।
परिपीतार्णवोऽगस्त्य इवास्तं समुपाययौ ॥ ३ ॥
sa śaśāma śanairvahnirniḥśeṣīkṛtakānanaḥ ,
paripītārṇavo'gastya ivāstaṃ samupāyayau 3

paripīta-arṇavaḥ agastyaḥ iva astam samupāyayau
3. saḥ niḥśeṣīkṛta-kānanaḥ vahniḥ śanaiḥ śaśāma
paripīta-arṇavaḥ agastyaḥ iva astam samupāyayau
3. That fire, having completely consumed the forest, slowly subsided and came to its end, just like the sage Agastya who drank up the ocean.
