योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-151, verse-7

तस्मात्क तद्गलबिलं विराडात्मा स च क्व ते ।
दग्धो दग्धस्य सौजस्कः सौजस्कस्यैव देहकः ॥ ७ ॥
tasmātka tadgalabilaṃ virāḍātmā sa ca kva te ,
dagdho dagdhasya saujaskaḥ saujaskasyaiva dehakaḥ 7
7. tasmāt kva tat galabilam virāṭ-ātmā saḥ ca kva te
dagdhaḥ dagdhasya saujaskaḥ saujaskasya eva dehakḥ
7. tasmāt,
kva tat galabilam? ca kva te saḥ virāṭ-ātmā? dagdhaḥ (dehaḥ) dagdhasya saujaskaḥ (asti),
eva ca dehakḥ saujaskasya (asti).
7. Therefore, where is that throat? And where is your universal self (virāṭ-ātman)? The burnt (body) is (merely) the vitality of the burnt, and only the body (remains) of the vital one.
