योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-151, verse-1

अन्यमुनिरुवाच ।
तत्र ते नगरं तानि गृहाणि तरवश्च ते ।
क्षिप्रेण शुष्कतृणवत्सर्वं भस्मत्वमागतम् ॥ १ ॥
anyamuniruvāca ,
tatra te nagaraṃ tāni gṛhāṇi taravaśca te ,
kṣipreṇa śuṣkatṛṇavatsarvaṃ bhasmatvamāgatam 1
1. anya-muniḥ uvāca tatra te nagaram tāni gṛhāṇi taravaḥ
ca te kṣipreṇa śuṣka-tṛṇavat sarvam bhasmatvam āgatam

ca sarvam kṣipreṇa śuṣka-tṛṇavat bhasmatvam āgatam
1. Another sage said, "Your city, those houses, and those trees there – all quickly turned to ashes, just like dry grass."
