किमास्था बालका ब्रूत ममेदमहमित्यलम् ।
आ ज्ञातं रमते बालसंकल्पे बाल एव च ॥ ८ ॥

8. O children, what trust (āsthā) can you place? Tell me! Enough of 'this is mine, I am this'! Ah, it is understood: only a child (or an ignorant person) revels in childlike imagination (saṃkalpa).
