योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-4, verse-3

भोगतृष्णाविषावेशो यदैवोपशमं गतः ।
तदैवमस्तमज्ञानमान्ध्यं ध्वान्तक्षयादिव ॥ ३ ॥
bhogatṛṣṇāviṣāveśo yadaivopaśamaṃ gataḥ ,
tadaivamastamajñānamāndhyaṃ dhvāntakṣayādiva 3

3. When the intense desire (tṛṣṇā) for worldly enjoyments, like an intoxicating poison, subsides, then ignorance (ajñāna) and spiritual blindness vanish, just as darkness disappears with the arrival of light.
