चित्ते गलति गीर्वाणगणस्य स्पृहणीयताम् ।
साधुर्गच्छत्युदेत्यस्य समता शीतचन्द्रिका ॥ ८ ॥

8. When the desirability of even the host of gods melts away in the mind, for such a virtuous person (sādhu), equanimity rises like cool moonlight, and he attains it.
