कामः क्लमं गच्छति च लोभः क्वापि पलायते ।
नोल्लसन्तीन्द्रियाण्युच्चैः खेदः स्फुरति नोच्चकैः ॥ ५ ॥

5. Desire (kāma) becomes weary, and greed flees away somewhere. The senses no longer exult intensely, nor does distress manifest strongly.
