वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-7, verse-30

ततो ऽपश्यत् कुथासीनं नानावर्णाम्बरस्रजम् ।
सहस्रं वरनारीणां नानावेषविभूषितम् ॥३०॥
30. tato'paśyat kuthāsīnaṃ nānāvarṇāmbarasrajam ,
sahasraṃ varanārīṇāṃ nānāveṣavibhūṣitam.
30. tataḥ apaśyat kuthā-āsīnam nānā-varṇa-ambara-srajam
| sahasram vara-nārīṇām nānā-veṣa-vibhūṣitam

30. Then [Hanuman] saw a thousand excellent women, seated on cushions, adorned with garlands and garments of various colors, and decorated with diverse costumes.
