वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-7, verse-68

बभूव बुद्धिस्तु हरीश्वरस्य यदीदृशी राघवधर्मपत्नी ।
इमा यथा राक्षसराजभार्याः सुजातमस्येति हि साधुबुद्धेः ॥६८॥
68. babhūva buddhistu harīśvarasya yadīdṛśī rāghavadharmapatnī ,
imā yathā rākṣasarājabhāryāḥ sujātamasyeti hi sādhubuddheḥ.
68. babhūva buddhiḥ tu harīśvarasya
yadi īdṛśī rāghavadharma-patnī
imāḥ yathā rākṣasarāja-bhāryāḥ
sujātam asya iti hi sādhubuddheḥ
68. harīśvarasya buddhiḥ tu babhūva (iti): "yadi rāghavadharma-patnī īdṛśī (na) yathā imāḥ rākṣasarāja-bhāryāḥ,
hi asya sujātam!" sādhubuddheḥ (iti).
68. But the monkey king's (Hanuman's) thought was, "If Rāghava's devoted wife (dharma-patnī) is like this (so pure and distinguished), unlike these wives of the demon king (Rāvaṇa) – truly, this is noble birth (sujātam) for her!" Such was the reasoning of his pure intellect.
