वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-7, verse-32

तत् प्रसुप्तं विरुरुचे निःशब्दान्तरभूषणम् ।
निःशब्दहंसभ्रमरं यथा पद्मवनं महत् ॥३२॥
32. tat prasuptaṃ viruruce niḥśabdāntarabhūṣaṇam ,
niḥśabdahaṃsabhramaraṃ yathā padmavanaṃ mahat.

niḥ-śabda-haṃsa-bhramaram yathā padma-vanam mahat
32. tat prasuptam niḥ-śabda-antara-bhūṣaṇam
niḥ-śabda-haṃsa-bhramaram mahat padma-vanam yathā viruruce
32. That sleeping assembly shone, its inner ornaments now silent, and without the sound of geese or bees, just like a great lotus forest (is silent).
