वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-7, verse-26

इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थैस्तु पञ्च पञ्चभिरुत्तमैः ।
तर्पयामास मातेव तदा रावणपालिता ॥२६॥
26. indriyāṇīndriyārthaistu pañca pañcabhiruttamaiḥ ,
tarpayāmāsa māteva tadā rāvaṇapālitā.

uttamaiḥ | tarpayāmāsa mātā iva tadā rāvaṇapālitā
26. Then, the city, protected by Rāvaṇa, delighted the five senses with their five excellent corresponding sense objects, just as a mother nurtures her children.
