वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-6, verse-12

कृताश्च वैदूर्यमया विहंगा रूप्यप्रवालैश्च तथा विहंगाः ।
चित्राश्च नानावसुभिर्भुजंगा जात्यानुरूपास्तुरगाः शुभाङ्गाः ॥१२॥
12. kṛtāśca vaidūryamayā vihaṃgā rūpyapravālaiśca tathā vihaṃgāḥ ,
citrāśca nānāvasubhirbhujaṃgā jātyānurūpāsturagāḥ śubhāṅgāḥ.

12. There were birds made of lapis lazuli, and similarly, other birds made with silver and coral. There were also variegated serpents, adorned with various gems, and horses with beautiful limbs, true to their breed.
