बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-92, verse-8

काञ्चनं लग्नगण्डान्ते दद्यात्तद्दोषप्रशान्तये ।
आद्यभागे प्रजातस्य पितुश्चाप्यभिषेचनम् ॥८॥
8. kāñcanaṃ lagnagaṇḍānte dadyāttaddoṣapraśāntaye .
ādyabhāge prajātasya pituścāpyabhiṣecanam.

8. One should donate gold at the end of the `lagna-gaṇḍānta` (the transitional period between a zodiac sign and a lunar mansion) for the pacification of its associated faults. Furthermore, if a child is born during the first part of this period, a purificatory bath should be performed for both the child and the father.
