बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-92, verse-1

तिथिनक्षत्रलग्नानां गण्डान्तं त्रिविधं स्मृतम् ।
जन्मयात्राविवाहादौ भवेत्तन्निधनप्रदम् ॥१॥

1. The critical junction (gaṇḍānta) of the lunar day (tithi), constellation (nakṣatra), and ascendant (lagna) is considered to be of three types. At the time of birth, journey, marriage, or similar events, it can prove to be fatal.
