One should offer worship with appropriate services, according to one's capacity (śakti), for the cessation of discord (kalaha). At the conclusion of this worship (pūjā), a fire ritual (homa) should be performed according to prescribed rules, using sacred firewood (samidh), cooked food (anna), and clarified butter (ājya).
