लाभेशे नीचभेऽस्ते वा त्रिके पापसमन्विते ।
कृते भूरिप्रयत्नेऽपि नैव लाभः कदाचन ॥११॥

11. lābheśe nīcabhe'ste vā trike pāpasamanvite .
kṛte bhūriprayatne'pi naiva lābhaḥ kadācana.

11. lābheśe nīcabhe aste vā trike pāpasamanvite
kṛte bhūriprayatne api na eva lābhaḥ kadācana

11. When the lord of gains (11th house) is in a debilitated sign, or in the 7th house, or in a trika house (6th, 8th, or 12th) and is associated with malefic planets, then even with much effort, there will never be any gain.
