मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-87, verse-20

छिन्ने शिरसि दैत्येन्द्रश्चक्रे नादं सुभैरवम् ।
तेन नादेन महता त्रासितं भुवनत्रयम् ॥२०॥
20. chinne śirasi daityendraścakre nādaṃ subhairavam .
tena nādena mahatā trāsitaṃ bhuvanatrayam.

20. When his head was severed, the king of the demons let out an exceedingly terrifying roar. That great roar frightened all three worlds.
