मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-87, verse-16

शरवर्षैर्महाभीमैर्भोमाक्षीं तां महासुरः ।
छादयामास चक्रैश्च मुण्डः क्षिप्तैः सहस्रशः ॥१६॥

16. The great demon Muṇḍa covered Bhimākṣī (the Goddess with terrifying eyes) with extremely formidable showers of arrows and with thousands of thrown discs.
