महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-58, verse-6

इषुभिर्बहुभिस्तूर्णं समरे लोमवाहिभिः ।
अदूरात्पर्यवस्थाय पूरयामासुरादृताः ॥६॥
6. iṣubhirbahubhistūrṇaṁ samare lomavāhibhiḥ ,
adūrātparyavasthāya pūrayāmāsurādṛtāḥ.
6. iṣubhiḥ bahubhiḥ tūrṇam samare loma-vāhibhiḥ
adūrāt paryavasthāya pūrayām āsuḥ ādṛtāḥ
6. From a short distance, having diligently taken up positions around him in battle, they quickly covered him with many piercing arrows.
