10. Just as lightning (vidyut) appears in a cloud (balāhake), or fire (pāvakaḥ) blazes on a mountain peak (śiloccaye), so too did Gaṇḍīva become vast (ātatam) and resemble Indra's bow (indrāyudham), the rainbow.
