महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-269, verse-7

समेत्य युयुधे तत्र ततो रामेण रावणः ।
युयुधे लक्ष्मणश्चैव तथैवेन्द्रजिता सह ॥७॥
7. sametya yuyudhe tatra tato rāmeṇa rāvaṇaḥ ,
yuyudhe lakṣmaṇaścaiva tathaivendrajitā saha.

7. Having met on the battlefield there, Ravana then fought with Rama. Lakshmana also, in the same manner, fought with Indrajit.
