महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-269, verse-11

रावणो राममानर्छच्छक्तिशूलासिवृष्टिभिः ।
निशितैरायसैस्तीक्ष्णै रावणं चापि राघवः ॥११॥
11. rāvaṇo rāmamānarchacchaktiśūlāsivṛṣṭibhiḥ ,
niśitairāyasaistīkṣṇai rāvaṇaṁ cāpi rāghavaḥ.
11. rāvaṇaḥ rāmam ānarccat śaktiśūlāsivṛṣṭibhiḥ
niśitaiḥ āyasaiḥ tīkṣṇaiḥ rāvaṇam ca api rāghavaḥ
11. Ravana assailed Rama with showers of javelins, spears, and swords. And Rama, the descendant of Raghu, in turn attacked Ravana with sharpened, iron, and sharp (weapons).
