महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-64, verse-4

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तद्वै श्रुत्वा भीमसेनः कुरुमध्येऽत्यमर्षणः ।
स्त्री गतिः पाण्डुपुत्राणामित्युवाच सुदुर्मनाः ॥४॥
4. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tadvai śrutvā bhīmasenaḥ kurumadhye'tyamarṣaṇaḥ ,
strī gatiḥ pāṇḍuputrāṇāmityuvāca sudurmanāḥ.
4. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca tat vai śrutvā bhīmasenaḥ kurumadhye
atyamarṣaṇaḥ strī gatiḥ pāṇḍuputrāṇām iti uvāca sudurmanāḥ
4. Vaiśampāyana said: Having indeed heard that, Bhīmasena, who was exceedingly enraged (atyamarṣaṇa) in the assembly of the Kurus and deeply dejected, said, "A woman is the only refuge (gati) for the sons of Pāṇḍu (Pandavas)!"
