यथा हि राज्ञो बहवो ह्यमात्याः पृथक्प्रमानं प्रवदन्ति युक्ताः ।

10.
Just as a king's many appointed ministers (amātya) each declare their own distinct standard or proof, similarly, there are five [sensory faculties] in bodies. That supreme [faculty] is a part of knowledge and is superior to them.
