असत्सु दीयते यत्तु तद्दानमिह भुज्यते ।
यादृशं दीयते दानं तादृशं फलमाप्यते ॥४॥

But whatever is given to the unworthy, that charity (dāna) is enjoyed in this world (iha). As is the charity (dāna) given, such is the fruit obtained.
