महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-40, verse-6

नृपं शिशुं तस्य सुतं प्रचक्रिरे समेत्य सर्वे पुरवासिनो जनाः ।
नृपं यमाहुस्तममित्रघातिनं कुरुप्रवीरं जनमेजयं जनाः ॥६॥
6. nṛpaṁ śiśuṁ tasya sutaṁ pracakrire; sametya sarve puravāsino janāḥ ,
nṛpaṁ yamāhustamamitraghātinaṁ; kurupravīraṁ janamejayaṁ janāḥ.
6. nṛpam śiśum tasya sutam pracakrire
sametya sarve puravāsinaḥ janāḥ
| nṛpam yam āhuḥ tam amitraghātinaṃ
kurupravīram janamejayam janāḥ
6. All the townspeople, having assembled, then made his young son, Janamejaya—whom people call the slayer of enemies and the hero of the Kurus—the new king.
