महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-23, verse-11

किमाहृत्य विदित्वा वा किं वा कृत्वेह पौरुषम् ।
दास्याद्वो विप्रमुच्येयं सत्यं शंसत लेलिहाः ॥११॥
11. kimāhṛtya viditvā vā kiṁ vā kṛtveha pauruṣam ,
dāsyādvo vipramucyeyaṁ satyaṁ śaṁsata lelihāḥ.
11. kim āhṛtya viditvā vā kim vā kṛtvā iha pauruṣam
dāsyāt vaḥ vipramucyeyam satyam śaṃsata lelihāḥ
11. "What should I bring, or what should I know, or what valorous deed should I perform here, by which I may be freed from servitude to you? Tell me the truth, O serpents."
