महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-18, verse-4

कद्रूरुवाच ।
कृष्णवालमहं मन्ये हयमेनं शुचिस्मिते ।
एहि सार्धं मया दीव्य दासीभावाय भामिनि ॥४॥
4. kadrūruvāca ,
kṛṣṇavālamahaṁ manye hayamenaṁ śucismite ,
ehi sārdhaṁ mayā dīvya dāsībhāvāya bhāmini.
4. kadrūḥ uvāca kṛṣṇavālam aham manye hayam enam
śucismite ehi sārdham mayā dīvya dāsībhāvāya bhāmini
4. Kadru said: "O pure-smiling one, I believe this horse has a black tail. Come, play dice with me for servitude, O beautiful one."
