विप्रान् गुरूनवगुरेत् प्रहरेद् यो दुरासदः ।
धनादानाद्धस्तदाहात् क्रमतस्तं विशोधयेत् ॥७६॥

yaḥ durāsadaḥ viprān gurūn avaguret praharet ca,

76. If a formidable person threatens or strikes brahmins and teachers, one should punish him progressively by confiscating his wealth, branding his hand, and banishing him.
