महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-11, verse-157

वापीकूपतडागेषु सास्थ्नां शवनिरीक्षणात् ।
उद्धृत्य कुणपं तेभ्यस्ततस्तान् परिशोधयेत् ॥१५७॥
157. vāpīkūpataḍāgeṣu sāsthnāṁ śavanirīkṣaṇāt ,
uddhṛtya kuṇapaṁ tebhyastatastān pariśodhayet.

157. If bones or a corpse are observed in step-wells, wells, or ponds, one should remove the dead body from them and thereafter thoroughly purify those bodies of water.
