महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-11, verse-125

भुञ्जानो मानवं मांसं गोमांसं ज्ञानतः शिवे ।
उपोष्य पक्षं शुद्धः स्यात् प्रायश्चित्तमिदं स्मृतम् ॥१२५॥
125. bhuñjāno mānavaṁ māṁsaṁ gomāṁsaṁ jñānataḥ śive ,
upoṣya pakṣaṁ śuddhaḥ syāt prāyaścittamidaṁ smṛtam.

125. O Shiva, if one knowingly consumes human flesh or beef, he becomes purified by fasting for a fortnight - this expiation has been declared.
