श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
देवेषु कथयत्स्वेवं कृत्वेमां मेदिनीं धराम् ।

6. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: While the gods were speaking thus, that host of beings, intoxicated and adorned with networks of fat, danced in the sky, having made this earth their support.
