योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-69, verse-8

केवलं चिति विश्रम्य किंचिच्चेत्यावलम्बिनि ।
सर्वत्र नीरसमिव तिष्ठत्वात्मरसं मनः ॥ ८ ॥
kevalaṃ citi viśramya kiṃciccetyāvalambini ,
sarvatra nīrasamiva tiṣṭhatvātmarasaṃ manaḥ 8

8. Let the mind, whose essence is the self (ātman), rest solely in pure consciousness. Even if it still depends slightly on objects of thought, let it remain everywhere as if devoid of taste.
