अद्यापि तत्र ये वध्यास्ते तदर्थं महीभुजा ।
नीयन्ते मित्रसन्माने के हि नाध्यवसायिनः ॥ ४ ॥

adyāpi tatra ye vadhyāste tadarthaṃ mahībhujā ,
nīyante mitrasanmāne ke hi nādhyavasāyinaḥ 4

4. Even today, those creatures there that are still designated for sacrifice are brought by the king for her sake, as a gesture of honoring a friend. Indeed, who would not be resolute in such an endeavor?

4. עד היום, הנדונים למוות מובאים אליה על ידי המלך מתוך כבוד לידידותם. הרי מי אינו נחוש בשימור קשר כזה?
