वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-20, verse-18

तानि चास्त्राणि वेत्त्येष यथावत् कुशिकात्मजः ।
अपूर्वाणां च जनने शक्तो भूयश्च धर्मवित् ॥१८॥
18. tāni cāstrāṇi vettyeṣa yathāvat kuśikātmajaḥ ,
apūrvāṇāṃ ca janane śakto bhūyaśca dharmavit.
18. tāni ca astrāṇi vetti eṣa yathāvat kuśikātmajaḥ
| apūrvāṇām ca janane śaktaḥ bhūyaḥ ca dharma-vit
18. eṣa kuśikātmajaḥ tāni ca astrāṇi yathāvat vetti
ca apūrvāṇām janane ca bhūyaḥ dharma-vit śaktaḥ
18. And this son of Kuśika (Viśvāmitra) knows those missiles and weapons precisely, and he is also capable of generating new, unprecedented ones. Furthermore, he is a knower of (natural) law (dharma).
