बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-96, verse-8

ब्राह्मणाय प्रदद्यात् तां शान्तिं वापि समाचरेत् ।
ब्रह्मविष्णुमहेशानां ग्रहाणां चैव पूजनम् ॥८॥
8. brāhmaṇāya pradadyāt tāṃ śāntiṃ vāpi samācaret .
brahmaviṣṇumaheśānāṃ grahāṇāṃ caiva pūjanam.
8. brāhmaṇāya pradadyāt tām śāntim vā api samācaret
brahmaviṣṇumaheśānām grahāṇām ca eva pūjanam
8. One should give that [buffalo or an equivalent] to a Brahmin, or perform a propitiatory rite (śānti). This includes the worship of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Maheśa (Śiva), as well as the planets.
