बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-96, verse-5

तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शान्तिः कार्या प्रयत्नतः ।
स्त्री वा गौवंडवा वापि परित्याज्या हितार्थिना ॥५॥
5. taddoṣaparihārārthaṃ śāntiḥ kāryā prayatnataḥ .
strī vā gauvaṃḍavā vāpi parityājyā hitārthinā.

5. To remedy that defect, a ritual of pacification (śānti) should be diligently performed. The woman, cow, or mare [involved] should also be abandoned by the one who desires his own welfare.
