महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-25, verse-6

यत्तु कर्णमहं ब्रूयां हितकामः प्रियाप्रियम् ।
मम तत्क्षमतां सर्वं भवान्कर्णश्च सर्वशः ॥६॥
6. yattu karṇamahaṁ brūyāṁ hitakāmaḥ priyāpriyam ,
mama tatkṣamatāṁ sarvaṁ bhavānkarṇaśca sarvaśaḥ.
6. yat tu karṇam aham brūyām hitakāmaḥ priyam apriyam
mama tat kṣamatām sarvam bhavān karṇaḥ ca sarvaśaḥ
6. tu yat aham hitakāmaḥ (san) karṇam priyam apriyam (vā) brūyām,
bhavān karṇaḥ ca sarvaśaḥ tat sarvam mama kṣamatām.
6. But whatever I, desiring your welfare, might say to Karna, whether it be pleasant or unpleasant, may you and Karna completely forgive all that (speech) of mine.
