महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-24, verse-7

न त्वेव मन्ये पुरुषस्य राजन्ननागतं ज्ञायते यद्भविष्यम् ।
त्वं चेदिमं सर्वधर्मोपपन्नः प्राप्तः क्लेशं पाण्डव कृच्छ्ररूपम् ॥७॥
7. na tveva manye puruṣasya rāja;nnanāgataṁ jñāyate yadbhaviṣyam ,
tvaṁ cedimaṁ sarvadharmopapannaḥ; prāptaḥ kleśaṁ pāṇḍava kṛcchrarūpam.
7. na tu eva manye puruṣasya rājan
anāgatam jñāyate yat bhaviṣyam tvam
cet imam sarvadharmopapannaḥ
prāptaḥ kleśam pāṇḍava kṛcchrarūpam
7. O King, I certainly do not believe that a person can know what is yet to come, what the future holds. O Pāṇḍava, if you, who are endowed with all aspects of natural law (dharma), have indeed fallen into this severe suffering (kleśa)...
