महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-24, verse-3

यद्युष्माकं वर्ततेऽसौ न धर्म्यमद्रुग्धेषु द्रुग्धवत्तन्न साधु ।
मित्रध्रुक्स्याद्धृतराष्ट्रः सपुत्रो युष्मान्द्विषन्साधुवृत्तानसाधुः ॥३॥
3. yadyuṣmākaṁ vartate'sau na dharmya;madrugdheṣu drugdhavattanna sādhu ,
mitradhruksyāddhṛtarāṣṭraḥ saputro; yuṣmāndviṣansādhuvṛttānasādhuḥ.

adrugdheṣu drugdhavat tat na sādhu
mitradhruk syāt dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ saputraḥ
yuṣmān dviṣan sādhuvṛttān asādhuḥ
3. If one's conduct, treating those who have not harmed as if they had harmed, is not in accordance with natural law (dharma), then that is not good. Dhṛtarāṣṭra, along with his son, would become a betrayer of friends, hating you who are of virtuous conduct; he would be unrighteous.
